2022 Summer Camps 

Interested families can email us at phaedraj@plumtreeschool.com to request a Registration Form. Once we receive the form, you will get an email confirming your spot or letting you know your place on the waitlist.

The following camps are for 3-6 year olds and run 9am-1pm.

A $80 non-refundable deposit is due for each child in each camp that you are enrolled. 

 

❑ June 20-June 24      Treasure Hunt #1 (Waitlist Only)

 

Join us for a different treasure hunt every day. We will search for treasure in our school, in our backyard, in our neighborhood and park. We will make maps, and keep an eye out for goblins. It's possible that we might even find buried treasure in our sandbox. We will store our jewels and gold in hand painted treasure chests. 

 

❑ June 27-July 1      Shake, Rattle, & Roll (Waitlist Only)

Dance is a universal language. No matter where you are in the world, you find dance and the powerful need for movement and expression. Professional ballet dancer/teacher Phaedra and the always ready for a hoedown anytime anywhere teacher Heidi will be exploring movement with you. 

❑ July 11-July 15           Fairies & Elves (Waitlist Only)

Magic is afoot at Plum Tree School as we explore the natural world of fairies and elves. From fairy houses to elvin crowns we will create a world of magical wonder. Through stories, songs, games and adventure we will learn more about our friends the mysterious and sometimes mischievous Fae!

 

❑ July 18-July 22           Tell Me a Tale (Waitlist Only)

 

From the beginning of time, we have told stories. Stories teach us, entertain us, and bring us together. In this camp we will be telling all kinds of tales from the silly to the sublime, from fable to rhyme. We will create and celebrate all aspects of storytime.

❑ Aug 8-Aug 12         As I See It – My world expressed (Waitlist Only)

This week we will play with different art media. We will be painting, making mono-prints, and working with clay along with other projects. 

 

The following camps are for 7-9 year olds and run 9am-3pm.

A $120 non-refundable deposit is due for each child in each camp that you are enrolled. 

❑ July 25-July 29         Water in Nature 

 

This week we will explore the wonders of water. We will bring our magnifiers, nets, and water colors to the pond. With stories and songs we'll discover how water is life. We'll dive into refreshing water fun with play and experimentation. 

 

❑ Aug 15-Aug 19             Children of the Earth and Sky

We'll spend the week singing songs, telling stories, and playing games from around the world - a celebration of our human family. We'll wrap up the week with a service project to help less fortunate people in our area.
